Access Statement

We at St. Luke’s & St Jude’s want church to be as welcoming and as accessible as it can possibly be.

We have step-free access from Princess Drive so wheelchairs and push chairs can access through the main doors of the church and community centre.

You’re welcome to sit anywhere you want – if it would help you for us to move a chair we would be happy to do so; please just ask. We have chairs available with arm rests if you find these easier.

We have a hearing induction loop; to use it please set your hearing aid to the appropriate setting.

At our 10:45 Sunday service we project the words for the service and songs onto a screen but large print service sheets are available in specific font or size of type, if requested in advance.

We have a toilet that is accessible for wheelchair users. If you have any specific requirements that would make things easier for you, please let us know.

If you have any access needs or require any additional assistance then please do contact the church wardens, welcomers or clergy and we will do all that we can to help.

If you have a child who requires any assistance to access Kids Church, please let us know and we will do all that we can to help. Our Kids church leaders are teachers who have a wide range of experience and will do all that they can to support you and your child. You would be very welcome to accompany your child during the group time as they get settled and used to the environment.
